Ariana is telling her loved ones to keep her romance with Ethan Slater on the down-low as he’s not yet divorced.

Ariana Grande may still be dating Ethan Slater, but she’s doing her best to keep their relationship on the down-low, as she has concerns over how their romance is affecting her reputation as well as career.

According to a new report by Radar Online, Ariana has warned her friends to “not breathe” a word about her relationship with Ethan publicly.

“Ariana has asked all her friends not to talk about it — at least not until both of them are officially divorced,” the insider claimed.

Ariana and Ethan met while filming Wicked in London and went public with their relationship earlier this year, despite both being legally married to other people at the time. Ariana recently finalized her divorce from Dalton Gomez, while Ethan is navigating a divorce from his high school sweetheart.

Apparently, the situation has made Ariana and Ethan’s co-workers uncomfortable. The source said that co-star Cynthia Erivo recently asked Ariana about her dating life, but failed to get a reply from the singer, leading to an uncomfortable situation.

“It’s an uncomfortable situation for Cynthia. She was a witness when Ariana and Ethan fell in love. She knows everything but she’s keeping it under wraps,” the source explained.

In September, Ariana officially filed for divorce after separating from Dalton earlier in the year. The news came amid reports that Ariana and Ethan had moved in together as they both navigate their break-ups.

“[They’re taking their time together to slowly work through the details of the agreement privately,” a source told PEOPLE of Dalton and Ariana’s split. “They’ve been really caring and respectful of one another through every step of this process.”
“Ari has nothing but kind words to say about Dalton. During their marriage, he was her No. 1 fan,” the source continued.

While Ariana’s divorce may be finalized, Ethan is still in divorce proceeding with his estranged wife, Lilly Jay, whom he shares an infant son with.

“[Lilly is] telling Ethan and others that she only cares about protecting their child,” a source told Page Six about the long-time couple’s split. “She’s rightfully upset because her marriage fell apart, but Ariana and Ethan didn’t do anything wrong.”

“Ethan is trying to take the high road and hopes he can resolve this situation for the sake of their child,” the insider continued. Lilly Jay, who’s not a public figure, only addressed Ariana one time, telling Page Six, “[Ariana’s] the story, really. Not a girl’s girl. My family is just collateral damage.”

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday, October 10, it was revealed the former couple had encountered disagreements regarding their prenuptial agreement before ultimately reaching an accord on the terms of their divorce.

Court records confirm that Ariana has agreed to provide her ex-husband with $1.2 million, which is tax-exempt, in addition to 50% of the net proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles residence. Furthermore, the singer will bear the responsibility for covering up to $25,000 in legal fees for Dalton.
