TAYLOR Swift‘s team has reached out to support the heartbroken family of her fan Ana Benevides who passed away at her concert in Brazil last week amid a freak heatwave.

The superstar has been slammed online for her apparent lack of empathy for the situation, despite releasing a statement telling of her devastation at the news.

But I can reveal the mud-slinging is misguided as behind the scenes Taylor’s infamously small inner circle have quietly been in contact with her family.

A source said: “The truth is Taylor is damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t.

Ana Benevides passed away at Taylor’s concert in Brazil last week during a freak heatwave.

“If she makes her actions public, she’s seen as using the situation for her own gain, but if she keeps quiet, people start accusing her of being cold.
