All the details on Demi Lovato’s bespoke $150K engagement ring from Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes
Musician Jordan “Jutes” Lutes” proposed to Demi Lovato with a bespoke engagement ring.
The “Heart Attack” singer, 31, announced on Sunday that her boyfriend, musician Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, proposed with an enormous pear-shaped ring.
“I’m still speechless 🥹🥹 last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic,” the former Disney star captioned photos on Instagram of the couple wearing matching black leather looks and flaunting the sparkler.
She continued, “My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you.. every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you baby.”
The bespoke ring features a giant pear-shaped diamond and was created by the couple with Teresa Panico at Material Good in Soho, NYC.
The couple worked with Panico on the design after visiting the company’s studio and they “fell in love” with a particular stone, according to a rep for the company. It took two weeks from start to completion to have their vision come to life, creating a ring that aimed to “highlight the beautiful natural diamond and keep the design simple and classic.”
An expert tell Page Six Style the pear-shaped stone could be worth $150,000.

Karly Bulinksi, a gemologist at Rare Carat who did not work on the ring, estimates the stone to weigh in at 4.5 carats, and tells us it’s set in a cathedral solitaire band and worth around $150,000.
Similar styles featuring smaller 1.5-carat and 3-carat center stones are currently available to purchase on Material Goods’ website for $15,200 and $82,000, respectively.
The couple have been dating for more than a year and first stepped out for a PDA-filled dinner date in August 2022.
Lovato called Lutes the “love of her life” and said she’s “speechless” over the proposal.

Lovato was previously engaged to Max Ehrich, with the actor popping the question in 2020 with a three-stone emerald-cut ring designed by jeweler Peter Marco that experts told Page Six Style at the time could be worth up to $850,000.
While fans noted on Twitter that the bold style was nearly identical to the fake engagement ring Lovato wore in her 2018 “Tell Me You Love Me” music video, it appears her taste has changed with time.
Other celebrities who have opted for the pear shape include Adele, Cher, Paris Hilton and more.
