Justin Bieber updated fans on his recovery following his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis.
Taking to his Instagram Story Wednesday, the “Peaches” hitmaker shared a video in which he was able to move both sides of his face — a movement that the condition prevented him from doing last year.
“Wait for it,” he wrote to his 281 million followers on the platform.
In the short clip, Bieber moved his eyes from side to side, raised his eyebrows and smiled as “Ice T” by Tems could be heard in the background.Ramsay Hunt syndrome is characterized by a painful rash near the ear, on the face or on the mouth, per New York’s Mount Sinai hospital.
It manifests when the varicella-zoster virus infects a nerve in the head, and it can sometimes cause facial paralysis.

The Canadian crooner revealed he was suffering from the syndrome last June.
At the time, the two-time Grammy winner said recovery would “take time” and would require him to do various facial exercises.
The diagnosis caused him to postpone the US dates of his Justice World Tour last year.

“Wanted to share a little bit of how I’ve been feeling. Each day has gotten better,” he explained in an Instagram video in June.
“Through all of the discomfort I have found comfort in the one who designed me and knows me.”
“I’m reminded he knows all of me,” he continued, adding, “He know the darkest parts of me that I want no one to know about and he constantly welcomes me into his loving arms.”

Bieber noted his faith-filled “perspective” on his health situation has given him “peace during this horrific storm that [he’s] facing.”
“By this point in my life I realize storms come and go,” he captioned the post, adding that “Jesus continues to remind me that he is with me in the midst of the storm.”
The singer was recently spotted attending the Vanity Fair Oscars party Sunday night after deciding to opt out of walking the red carpet with his wife, Hailey Bieber.
The pop star — who was oddly wearing what appeared to be a blanket at the party — instead met Hailey inside the starry event, even though he’d shown her public support earlier in the day on social media amid an allegedly renewed feud between her and his ex Selena Gomez.
Justin, 29, was at the Vanity Fair extravaganza, but a source told Page Six, “He came in a back entrance and met Hailey inside.”
