Abandoned Dog Waits 5 Days In The Snow For Her Family To Come Back

Dogs love people more than we could ever imagine. They are so much faithful and loyal that whenever people betray them, they always fail to understand what happened, even when the situation is perfectly clear.

This is exactly what happened to Carla, a dog who was abandoned in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The dog had been waiting for her owners for 2 days straight when local residents got worried about her and called Janine Guido, an experienced rescuer and founder of a local animal rescue. For 3 more days, Guido had been out there trying to save Carla. The dog even accepted some food from her hand, but whenever she tried to put a leash on her, she always ended up running away. The dog would disappear for a few days, appearing on someone’s back porch after a while, always refusing help from people.
One day Janine was on Facebook, giving live updates about the rescue, and all of a sudden she found Carla on the backseat of her car. She probably got tired of waiting, realized she needed help and decided to trust the woman who had been trying to save her for days. Janine immediately brought Carla to the vet, where they found out she had no microchip and was 15 to 20 pounds underweight.
After living in a foster home with other dogs and fully recovering from this experience, Carla found a forever home and is now living her best life with her new family.

A dog, named Carla, was staying out in the freezing cold forest in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Residents got worried since the dog was alone and it was freezing outside.

Janine Guido, a seasoned rescuer, got a lot of concerned calls and drove to the area to rescue the dog.

She fed the Carla and was always on the lookout for her.

Janine tried to put a leash on Carla but she always ended up running away.

There were times when Carla would be missing for several days and the residents would look for her.

Sometimes, she’d suddenly appear in one of the residents’ back porch.

One day, as Janine was on Facebook, giving live info about the rescue, Carla suddenly jumped one the backseat of her car.

Carla was brought to the vet. It was discovered that she had no microchip and had been on her own for a while.

She was also 15 to 20 pounds underweight.

After living with other foster dogs at a nice foster home, Carla finally found a forever family.
