Dog Returned For Adoption Since She Had Chronic Disease, Finds Home With Girl

This dog has been adopted before. Because it required extra care, it was sent back. For months, no one was willing to give her a chance until she finally found someone who was able to understand her needs.

The Humanitarian Rescue Alliance, a rescue group in the United States, stepped up again to give Fiona another chance. They believe in not giving up the puppies they rescue. The furry lady began showing symptoms of a condition called Cushing’s syndrome, such as hair loss, frequent urination, need for medication, and a prominent belly.

Because of all of these challenges, it seemed like an option for families looking to adopt a dog. Although she was adopted in January of this year, she ended up at the shelter in August. Although they knew it would be difficult, the volunteers insisted on finding her a home.

Monica Whitaker’s five-year-old daughter, Manny, wanted a cat. When they first saw Fiona at the shelter, they were concerned that she might be pregnant.. When they specifically asked about it the woman at the shelter assured them that Fiona wasn’t expecting any kittens. I explained all of Fiona’s special care requirements. They realized that this was the obstacle, to adopting it.

Manny is given a piece of cheese by a kind volunteer with the intention of tearing it up and giving it to Fiona as soon as she responds. Then the little boy bent down to pet the dog. Regardless of this, the girl generously gave the lady a slice of cheese in the hope that it would immediately bring her joy.

And soon the daughter decided to bring her home. Her mother could not help but shed tears. Monica understood what it meant to experience rejection because her 19-year-old son had an accident at the age of six that left him with a speech impediment and an intellectual disability.

Knowing Fiona’s background, Monica decides to adopt a dog in order to get a cat. In the morning, everyone in the animal rescue group is sad when they realize their fluffy companion has been with them for 120 days.

With Monicas’ son taking Fiona for walks and letting her relax on the couch, she quickly felt like part of the family. She seamlessly assumed Mianes’ role as leader in their house.
