Pittie Mix Can’t Stop Dancing In The Rain After 175 Days Spent In A Shelter

It takes a little to make a dog happy – that’s for sure!

These furballs will probably shower you with love just because you have taken them for a walk or given them a treat that they love so much.

Well, for Rambo – happiness was shaped quite differently. After spending more than 150 days kenneled in a shelter, this boi has finally learned his very own definition of happiness – FREEDOM!

When he finally got out of the shelter, where he had spent exactly 175 days, Rambo, the Pittie mix, couldn’t be happier! One of the shelter volunteers, Julie Saraceno, posted a video of this happy doggo on her Instagram, crying happy tears for her favorite shelter boi!

Even though it was pouring outside, Rambo was just too happy to stop enjoying his freedom! He literally did a little “dance in the rain” in his new foster momma’s yard, and melted the hearts of many people who came across the video!

Before his journey in Tri-Cities Animal Shelter, from Pasco, Washington, began, Rambo was wandering the streets of Kennewick.

“He came in fearful and unsure of shelter life, but has grown to trust and love the volunteers and staff. He is truly an amazing dog,” Julie Saraceno wrote.

The time was passing by, but it seemed that no one showed true interest in Rambo, who started feeling a little anxious about being surrounded by concrete kennel walls all the time.

Even though he was such a good boy, it was more than evident that he needed out!

Just when it seemed that Rambo wouldn’t be getting out any time soon, the Forgotten Dogs Rescue crew, from Seattle, Washington, stepped in!

He is so happy to get some much needed rest out of the stressful kennel environment,” FDR wrote on their official Facebook.

They made sure to give this sweet boy the one thing he’d been missing all this time – freedom! The staff made sure to find him the most suitable foster he could ever ask for – his mom, Billie Wensveen.

It turns out that exchanging the small kennel for his mom’s grass-covered, spacious yard was everything he ever needed!

He couldn’t be happier in his foster home, hanging around with Billie and his foster brother.

On top of all that – Rambo seems to be improving his demeanor with his new trainer, learning obedience and building towards full socialization with other people!
