After being treated at Care More Animal Hospital, he was adopted by vet tech Crystal Lesley due to her affection for him.

Taka won hearts at the hospital, especially Lesley, who decided to foster him during his treatment. Lesley will enroll Taka in therapy dog training to help soothe others in similar situations.

Coming home with Lesley was a delight for Taka, who had been through a lot recently.

 

‘In th.e f.i.re’, he lost both his sight and his family. The fire that damaged Taka’s face broke out while he was napping in his family home.

The ‘s.u.dd.en fire’ caused his family to evacuate, leaving him behind.

Taka escaped and survived the fire, but sustained severe burns and needed urgent medical care. Taka’s life was saved by the caring veterinarians at Care More Hospital.

It took weeks to prepare him for the world, and Taka couldn’t see his family. His family doubted their ability to care for Taka due to his ‘sev’er’e in’ju’ri’es’.

 

They left Kata in the hospital Kata underwent treatment and rehab alone, and after leaving the hospital, he needed a foster home.

Taka’s family’s decision led him to his happy life, but losing his sight and family must have been devastating for the pup. Taka was thrilled to find a new home with his foster mom.

 

Taka’s temporary stay turned permanent.

Lesley adopted a sweet, positive, and caring pooch, becoming his official dog-mom. He’s made friends at Care More Animal Hospital, has a new family,and completed Therapy Dog training. Taka’s Journey showcases his charming and heartwarming adventures.
