This is the happiest adoption photo ever, First night at home from the shelter

This is what it looks like to save a life… Please adopt always, and don’t buy anything. Online users have been moved by a pit bull’s emotional reaction to spending his first evening after leaving the shelter with his new family. The dog was seen grinning from ear to ear in the most joyful adoption picture ever!

According to the owner, who posted about it on Reddit, after being adopted, it was the pit bull’s first night at home. The newly adopted pit bull snuggled up to his little sister, a human, and grinned, for he was now safe and comfortable in his wonderful home. “His smile made me melt inside, and I knew I’d made the right choice,” the owner stated.

First night at home from the shelther! Happiest adoption photo ever!!! This is what saving a life looks like... Please don't buy. Always adopt.

Due to their breed, pit bulls spend three times longer in shelters and are less likely to be adopted compared to other breeds.

Even though they are the most common breed found in American shelters, a survey discovered that 50% of dogs labeled as “pit bulls” do not have pit bull DNA.

Pit bulls face controversy due to past incidents of attacks and maulings, which makes potential owners hesitant to adopt them.

Arizona State University conducted a study to determine how much a dog’s classification affects their chances of being adopted. The research shows that dogs labeled as “pit bulls” spend over three times longer in shelters compared to similar dogs without the label.

The online community was touched by the affection between a dog and a rabbit who were raised together.

A dog named “Star” has gained popularity online for unwittingly imitating famous movie scenes.

One user commented, “After a gloomy day, this picture warmed my heart,” while another exclaimed, “Oh my god, that face!” Adorabull!

“I’m smiling and dozing off at the same time,” one person said. Another added, “You truly made their lives better.”

According to another user, dogs with traumatic pasts often sleep for extended periods after being adopted. “I don’t know about the circumstances here, but it’s common for pups from difficult backgrounds to sleep for days when they finally have a safe home,” they said.
