The vocal powerhouse is bringing The X Tour to Glasgow, London, Manchester and Birmingham this November. Tickets are available now at LiveNation.co.uk.

The star was honored with the Community Hero award from Nevada’s The Shade Tree, and tearfully recounted her own past with domestic violence during her speech.

The superstar has opened up in the past about the abuse she, her mother and her sister endured at the hands of her father, becoming a role model for domestic violence survivors.

‘It’s just disgusting and it happens far too much to people that we do love,’ said the Beautiful hitmaker during her moving speech.

Discussing the cause, Aguilera said, ‘it is very dear to my heart, because I did grow up in [violence] and I’m a survivor of it – as I’m sure many of you are – and I’m affected by it.’

‘It’s so important, the work that you put into this,’ she added.

‘That so many volunteers [put into this], and your donations. They do mean so much to me.’
