The Dirrty legend was on stage in the Big Apple to belt out some hits
Christina Aguilera was like a giant ball of singing snow as she belted out her greatest hits during a festive New York New Year’s Eve performance.

The 38-year-old Grammy award winning star was a performer on the 47th annual Dick Clark’s New Year Rockin’ Eve show in the Big Apple.

And taking to the stage ahead of the bells chiming midnight, the star showed off her impressive style as well as her knock-out pipes.

Xtina looked extra festive as she stepped out to perform in a dazzling white and silver ensemble.

She wore thigh high white boots, a white minidress with metallic/silver detailing, and a huge billowing coat complete with a tight fitting belt and silver rhinestones.
She completed her look with a high, tight, hairstyle, silver earrings, and a pair of cream gloves.

Fans flooded Twitter with positive feedback of her appearance – while some did compare her to the Fairy Godmother from the Shrek film series.

And others compared her to the ‘igloo dress’ Hilary Duff rocked in an episode of her Disney Channel series, Lizzie McGuire.

During her set, Christina belted out a medley of tunes including Genie in a Bottle, Come on Over, Can’t Hold Us Down, Ain’t No Other Man, and Fighter.

Others performing on the night included British stars Dua Lipa and Bastille – while Camila Cabello and Ciara also performed.

Last year saw a landmark performance from music legend Mariah Carey who was granted the chance to return to the stage to redeem herself for a 2017 singing disaster.

She returned to belt out her songs including Hero and Vision of Love – while complaining of not getting hot tea.

The year previous, technical faults saw Mariah declare “it just don’t get any better” after she gave a catastrophic performance where she shuffled around the stage while a backing track belted out behind her.
