Taylor Swift caused a fan frenzy as she made a surprise appearance at the New York premiere of pal Emma Stone’s new film Poor Things.

The singer, 33, was flanked by security as she pulled up to the venue in a chauffeured black SUV.

For Wednesday’s occasion, Swift stunned in a glamorous black fur coat and sported her signature red lip.

Her dirty blonde hair tumbled down the front of her silky black midi dress in loose tendrils.

The Anti-Hero singer — who was revealed as TIME’s Person Of The Year — strutted her stuff in tall open toed heels that showed off her scarlet pedicure.

She carried a sparkly hardshell purse with a shiny gold handle.

Swift paired her ruby pout with then winged eyeliner and just a touch of warm brown shadow on the lids.

Fans who were lucky enough to catch Swift’s arrival frantically snapped photos from the sidelines.

Emma — who looked phenomenal in a plunging gown — was asked about her close pal Swift on the red carpet.

Swift recently released her vault track When Emma Falls in Love, which fans have speculated is about Emma’s whirlwind romance with her now-husband Dave McCary.

‘You would have to ask her,’ she answered coyly.

She also wouldn’t confirm if the Wildest Dreams hitmaker would be supporting her at the big premiere.

‘We will see,’ she told ET correspondent Rachel Smith.

Stone stars in the black comedy based on Alasdair Gray’s novel of the same name alongside actors Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe and Ramy Youssef.

The film follows Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman who is brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Dafoe), as per IMDb.

It was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos for Searchlight Pictures.

Being the bonafide queen of Easter eggs, fans of Swift speculated that her appearance may be confirmation that her film directorial debut isn’t far off.

Last year, Variety reported that Swift would be directing a movie for Searchlight based on a script she wrote.

Searchlight presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield told the outlet at the time: ‘Taylor is a once in a generation artist and storyteller. It is a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this exciting and new creative journey.’

The multi-Grammy Award-winner made her short film directorial debut in 2021 with All Too Well, which starred Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien and Stranger Things star Sadie Sink.

It was rumored to be about her relationship with ex Jake Gyllenhaal, who dated Swift when she was 20 and he was 29.

She self-directed her Anti-Hero music video, which premiered last year, as well as the music videos for Willow (2020), Cardigan (2020 and Bejeweled (2022).

She has also co-directed several music videos, including Mine (2010) and Lover (2019).
