Before the heat of “Malibu” could decrease, Miley Cyrus released the new song “Younger Now”.

After many recent changes in image and relationships, Miley Cyrus seems to be renewing her music with her old innocence and happiness after a long trial. While “Malibu”  is still not hot, the “Wrecking ball” girl  also took the opportunity to release her new song  “Younger now” .

1. Where does the name “Younger now” come from?

Responding in an interview with Billboard, Miley said that the idea of  ​​”Younger now”  was initiated by her mother, especially during the conversation about her changes in the present. “When you were a little girl, all you wanted to do was wear tight, high heels,”  she told Miley  . Miley replied that it was because she wanted to look like an adult. So her mother responded:  “I swear you look much younger now than you did a few years ago.”

Miley recalls the conversation that day that really made her think: “I look younger now and I’m proud of it.”

2. Miley personally performed “Younger now”

She is the songwriter, main producer and did most of the work on  “Younger now”. The only person she collaborated with on this album was writer and producer Oren Yoel. He also co-produced the ballad  “Adore you”  and has also worked with famous singers such as Asher Roth, Kanye West and Macy Gray .

So now three songs from her 6th album have been released, including the fresh return of  “Malibu” , the positive words of encouragement from  “Inspired”  (which she performed at One Love Manchester concert) and finally the latest product  “Younger now”.

3. Return with “The Voice”

In 2016, she appeared on the show  “The Voice”  first as a consultant, then became one of the coaches of this show. It cannot be denied that “The Voice” has a significant influence on helping “Younger now” take on the classic pop-rock genre. Miley shared that sometimes when she needs to record a demo of her song, she also records it here.

This fall, she will return as a coach on the show, scheduled to begin on September 25, just 4 days before her new album is released. It can be seen that Miley has calculated quite carefully and chosen the most suitable time for her new album.
