Tension broke out after the Arsenal – Man City (1-0) match when Erling Haaland and Kyle Walker exchanged words with members of the opposing side.

The defeat against Arsenal was also the fourth consecutive match that Erling Haaland did not score for Man City in all competitions.

Perhaps this made the Norwegian striker unable to control his emotions after the Arsenal – Man City match (1-0). He participated in the clash between Kyle Walker and a member of the Arsenal side.

It seems that Arsenal assistant coach Nicolas Jover was the cause of the problem when he said something that made Walker angry. The incident was confirmed by coach Pep Guardiola, but Pep “did not want to say anything” in the post-match press conference.

Nicolas Jover worked as an assistant to Pep Guardiola at Man City for 2 seasons, then moved to Arsenal in the 2021-2022 season, taking on the task of technical assistant for  Mikel Arteta .

After 8 years, Arsenal was finally able to end their 12-match losing streak, winning for the first time against Man City. The last time Arsenal beat Man City (2-1) was in round 17 of the 2015-16 Premier League.

As for Mikel Arteta, he also won for the first time against “old teacher” Pep Guardiola in the Premier League. Besides, Mikel Arteta has won at least 1 match against all the Premier League teams he has faced.
