For her father, however, Miley says it’s important for him to feel loved and appreciated by his audience.

“My dad grew up the opposite of me, so I think that’s where me and my dad’s relationship to fame and success is wildly different,” Miley explained. “Him feeling loved by a big audience impacted him emotionally more than it ever could me.”

Miley’s Siblings Skipped Her Mom’s Wedding To Dominic Purcell

Billy Ray Cyrus shares his daughter Miley with his ex-wife Tish Cyrus. They also have four other children together, including singer Noah Cyrus. Tish and Billy Ray divorced 2022 following 28 years of marriage, though they were separated for some time before it was finalized.

Both have moved on with new people, though it seems to have caused some tension with their children, as Noah and Braison Cyrus were noticeably absent from Tish’s recent wedding to Prison Break star Dominic Purcell.

Contrarily, not only did Miley attend her mother’s wedding, but she also acted as a bridesmaid along with her older sister, Brandi. Miley’s big brother, Trace, was also one of the groomsmen. Miley even held the wedding at her Malibu mansion, which she purchased last year for $7.5 million.

Following the online speculation as to why Tish’s youngest children skipped the wedding, the family released a statement via their representative denying a feud and asking for privacy at the moment.

“Noah and Tish’s reps have spoken and can categorically confirm that this ‘source’ is absolutely false, and not from anyone close to the family,” the rep said. “The family is shocked and hurt by the false narrative taking shape on both social media and in the press and ask that everyone please respect their need for privacy at this time.”

Moreover, sources say Tish isn’t upset that her youngest kids skipped her big day. “Tish will always love her kids no matter what,” a source told Us Weekly. “She understands divorce might be challenging especially when she and Billy Ray [Cyrus] had been together for so long.”

“Tish has never pushed her relationship with Dominic on any of her children and that’s not something she would ever do,” they continued. “She gets that it’s an adjustment for the whole family and doesn’t expect everyone to be on board every step of the way.”

Billy Ray Cyrus is also engaged to someone new – singer Firerose – but it remains to be seen if all of his kids show up to the nuptials.
