Miley Cyrus reveals she lost her virginity to Liam Hemsworth
Noel Gallagher also came under fire for claiming that American culture sexualises women and British culture doesn’t.
Miley Cyrus fans are criticising Noel Gallagher after the 53-year-old referred to Miley as a “god awful woman” in an interview.
Noel Gallagher is no stranger to controversy. Over the course of the past few weeks alone, the Oasis singer has been called out for multiple problematic comments. Just recently, he said that he refuses to wear a mask. In spite of well-documented medical evidence to the contrary, Noel said: “The whole thing is bollocks. I think it’s a pisstake. There’s no need for it.”
Now, Noel is facing backlash for making sexist remarks about Miley Cyrus and the sexualisation of women in general.

Speaking to the Daily Star about Miley’s now infamous performance of ‘We Can’t Stop’ at the MTV VMAs in 2013, Noel said: “That god awful woman Miley Cyrus was on and she was doing some fucking shit and even my nine-year-old, [Sonny], said, ‘Why is the cameraman just filming her legs?”.
He then added: “Women have been sexualised because of America, British culture would never sexualise a female. This has all come from America – that juvenile, jock, stupid fucking culture.”Naturally, people are calling Noel out for his comments. Not only are women sexualised in the UK and other cultures outside of the US but women like Miley are also entitled to sexualise themselves however they please.
One person tweeted: “not misogynist clowns using miley’s name for clout for the 9272829th time. Stay pressed”. Another fan added: “Miley Cyrus, a strong liberated woman, should consider it an honor that an old wanna be someone science denier anti-mask @NoelGallagher is knocking her!! Bravo @MileyCyrus, clearly you’re doing something right.”
Just seen Noel Gallagher calling Miley Cyrus a “Godawful woman” before going on to blame America, and possibly Cyrus herself, for the sexualisation of female artists.
Great songwriter, not that bright.
