MILEY Cyrus has sold her Malibu home for $1.7 million, losing almost $1 million from the value after she purchased the property in 2016.

The split-level contemporary home is painted a bold shade of turquoise and is hidden down a long, tree-lined drive.

With four bedrooms and three and a half bedrooms, the home is bright and airy, with dark wooden decor and 70s-inspired boho-style interiors.

There is a large open-plan kitchen with French doors that open to the large, lush gardens with a hot tub.

An indoor/outdoor dining room caters for the gorgeous California weather, while the drive has a charging station for an electric car.

The property was used by Miley and her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth as a creative studio and guest house.

Songwriter Matthew Wilder and his wife Tamara Dunn purchased the home; the pair had previously sold a Malibu home on a neighboring estate for more than $6.8 million to Liam in 2014.

Miley and Liam lived together at that home, and it was that property which sadly burned to the ground in the 2018 Woolsey Fire.

The pair were devastated when the ranch burnt to the ground as the fires swept across Malibu, but managed to rescue their beloved dogs.

At the time, Liam shared a photo of the burnt-out shell, saying: “It’s been a heartbreaking few days.

Miley is now living with new boyfriend Cody Simpson, with the pair quarantining together during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The pair – who have been friends for years – first began romancing each other in late 2019, and have been self-isolating together in Los Angeles.

In early April they delivered 120 tacos to their local hospital workers to thank them during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
