In the song “Cattitude” Miley Cyrus sings “I love you Nicki, but I listen to Cardi”. The pop star explained the verse of her piece in a recent interview.
“Me against Nicki? I don’t think the quarrel continues today. I think you’re allowed to enjoy two artists doing the same genre.” It’s also why Ariana Grande is one of my best friends. When you are authentically yourself, no one can be you. So you don’t have to worry about someone stealing your place because it can’t be taken, you’re the only one. I think what they do is very different. That is why both must have the crown. They must not divide it, they must not break it in half. There is no reason to argue about it. They’re both queens.”
These compliments were not enough to calm Minaj, who last night during the last episode of Queen Radio lashed out at Miley.
“Chickens can’t talk about queens! She disrespected me in a magazine article and had no reason to do so. I saw her after she sucked Mike WiLL’s f*** in the studio… Now he comes out with his pink wigs.”
Nicki is probably referring to a statement Cyrus made 4 years ago.
“If I’m not mistaken, you said that all the VMA nominees were white and blond, right? And then Taylor Swift stepped in. What I read sounded very ‘Nicki Minaj’ style, which, if you know Nicki Minaj, you know she’s not too nice. She’s not very polite.”
Nicki Minaj in full mode ‘but do you remember what you did to me 13 years ago?!”.
