Ranbir Kapoor had once left Karan Johar speechless on Koffee With Karan after he slammed him for bringing up Deepika Padukone again and again

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were once considered the IT couple of Bollywood. While they have now moved on in their life with their respective partners, their relationship is still a widely discussed topic. The same happened when a few years ago the actor and his ex-girlfriend’s husband, actor Ranveer Singh graced the couch of Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan. The filmmaker had brought up the topic of discussing the ‘elephant in the room,’ hinting at both the actor’s sharing the couch.

Known for his witty remarks, Ranbir had calmly and sophisticatedly expressed how there was nothing to talk about since all the parties involved have moved on in their life. He went on to express how since the matter happened around seven to eight years ago, he also wants Koffee with Karan to move on. A video of the same recently resurfaced the internet, as the video from August posted by the actor’s fan page suddenly went viral. The actor’s reaction to Karan probing on his past is winning the hearts of the internet. 
 Netizens were quick to take to the comment section of the post to hail the 41-year-old for calmly handling the matter. Many even expressed how he is the only star kid who can stand up against the director-producer and put a stop to his gossip sessions. One wrote, “It’s been such a long time and he is still pissed at Coffee with Karan show (rightfully so) and subsequently still pissed at the media. I’m glad that he put Karan in his place that show is the heart of most of the Bollywood gossips and conflicts between actors.” Another wrote, “RK silently hates KJ but he is born in that industry so can’t really say anything

Talking about their personal lives, both the actors are happily married to their respective spouses. Deepika tied the knot with Ranveer Singh in 2018. Ranbir married Alia Bhatt in 2022, they even welcomed their daughter Raha Kapoor in November. Having starred in many movies, the actors were last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, where Ranbir played the character Shiva and Deepika had a cameo as Shiva’s mother Amrita. While they never shared the screen space, fans have been hoping to see them together as the sequel of the film is said to be focused on Dev and Amrita.
