In a brief post on X, she urged people not to believe everything they read amid rumors about an alleged LSU suspension.

“please don’t believe everything you read,” Reese wrote.

Despite scoring 11 points in 13 minutes against Kent State, she sat out the final two quarters per the coach’s decision.

A photo on her Instagram story added to the mystery, showing an LSU court with a cart of basketballs, though the context was unclear. The situation escalated when Reese didn’t travel with the team for their next game.

“You want me to explain why? It’s very obvious Angel was not in uniform,” Mulkey said.

“Angel is a part of this basketball team and we hope to see her sooner than later.”
