Angel Reese has shared a letter from a fan pleading with her to return amid the LSU basketball star’s current exile from the team.

Reese, 21, was absent from LSU’s previous two games after being benched in their November 14 win over Kent State for reported ‘attitude problems’.

Tigers coach Kim Mulkey is yet to confirm why she has been left out of recent games, although Reese herself recently shut down rumors that she has been suspended due to a low grade point average.

As the mystery surrounding her exile continues, the LSU forward recently received a letter from someone insisting they are her ‘biggest fan’.

The fan in question is desperate to see her return to the court for LSU, writing: ‘Dear Angel – come back to the games I am your biggest fan’.

Reese posted a photo of the letter on her Instagram story and wrote: ‘Love my neighbors’.

‘Bayou Barbie,’ as she is known, also posted a shot from inside the LSU facility last Saturday, seemingly indicating she had returned to practice despite being benched by Mulkey in their win over Southeastern Louisiana.

She was then left out of Monday’s victory over Texas Southern.

Mulkey recently said that Reese remains ‘a part of this basketball team, and we hope she’s back with the team soon,’ when pressed about her absence.

‘You want me to explain why?’ she said of Reese’s exile.

‘It’s very obvious Angel is not in uniform, Angel is a part of this basketball team, we hope to see her sooner than later. That’s all you need to know.’

Before her absence, Reese was averaging 17 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

She is one of the most recognizable faces in college basketball, having been an integral part of the Tigers’ national championship victory last season.
