Jana Kramer is officially a mom of three!

The Whine Down podcast host and author of the national best-seller The Next Chapter: Making Peace with Hard Memories, Finding Hope All Around Me, and Clearing Space for Good Things to Come, 39, and fiancé Allan Russell have welcomed their first baby together, a rep for the couple confirms to PEOPLE.

Kramer and Russell welcomed son Roman James Russell on Monday, Nov. 13, weighing 6 lbs., 1 oz. at birth.

“Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell. We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together,” the couple tells PEOPLE.

“The name Roman really isn’t inspired by anyone, it’s just a strong name that we both love, but James (his middle name) was both of our Grandpa’s names, so that was a nod to them,” they share.

Kramer reflected on her little one’s arrival as the month kicked off and she braced for the change in her family.

“November. I can’t believe THE month is already here. Feels like it was just end of march when we found out about 👶🏼 and now the big month is finally here,” she wrote.

Having previously shared that her baby was due on Dec. 2, the singer clarified that she was “doing a C-section earlier” as a result of a “growing fibroid.”

Last month, the country star and podcaster shared a few photos to her Instagram as she celebrated becoming a mom of three with her friends. Kramer smiled, holding her bump with both hands as she posed with five girlfriends, including actor Johnathon Schaech’s wife Julie, LOCASH’s Preston Brust’s wife Kristen and country singer Lee Brice’s wife Sara.

She also shared a glimpse at the outdoor venue, a cheese platter she enjoyed and a view of the campfire. “I’m beyond blessed for these girls. I told them I didn’t want this big shower…I just wanted cozies and my queendom for one night…and it was perfect,” the musician wrote.

“The sunset, laughs by the fireplace, prayers for sweet baby, and a cozy sleepover. It was perfection. Little guy is so lucky to have these aunties and I’m forever blessed to have their love. Thank you girls for everything,” she said.
