As the excitement surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s blossoming romance continues to sweep the nation, we know of at least one person who quite literally has a love hangover because of the couple. And it’s all because of a drinking game.

According to ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington, the drama began when his flight was delayed around the same time the New York Jets were battling it out with Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday. Given the flight delay, Darlington decided to play a Taylor Swift-inspired drinking game with shots. Because why not?

“Delayed out of Buffalo’s airport, but we’re making the most of it. We’re drinking for every time they show Taylor Swift — and I’m buying shots for the bar every 5th time they show her. Let’s go!” he wrote in a tweet sent on Sunday.

But according to Darlington’s hilarious followup tweet, one of the participants of the drinking game may have had a little too much fun.

“Annnd we’re delayed again because a guy puked when he boarded the plane. Not kidding. My bad?” he wrote.

Although it’s not 100 percent clear if the puking passenger was in fact downing shots during the Taylor Swift drinking game, people social media assumed they were. (Darlington did not respond to Delish’s request for comment.)

“You are leaving a trail of evidence my friend. Quickly delete all of this,” one person wrote.

“Shouldn’t of been buying all those drinks,” said another person who also added a pair of crying laughing emojis.
