Paramore front-woman, Hayley Williams, 34, flashed a big smile as she left the studio alongside the pair, while singer Sabrina Carpenter, 24, was also present.

The Greenwich Village studio, commissioned by Jimi Hendrix in 1968, is the cities oldest working recording studio.

Taylor has previously recorded her albums; Lover, Folklore and Midnights at Electric Lady as well as the re-recordings of Speak Now, Red and Fearless.

Earlier this year, Hayley and Taylor collaborated on Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on the previously unreleased track Castles Crumbling – with this week’s sighting hinting at a possible new song from the duo.

Taylor announced her next re-release album will be her hit 2014 record 1989 during a Los Angeles gig last month, revealing that the re-record will arrive in October and feature five new tracks.

Unveiling the album cover on her Instagram page after the show, Taylor gushed that it is ‘my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind.’

The 2014 album, which originally featured 13 songs on the standard version and 16 songs on the deluxe edition, includes her hit singles Shake It Off and Blank Space among others.

Taylor’s news was met with huge excitement inside the SoFi stadium in California as she teased: ‘So here we are on the last night of the US leg of the Eras tour on the eighth month of the year, on the ninth day,’ before telling the crowd she had been ‘planning this for a long time.’

Back in 2019 Taylor took to her Tumblr to reveal ‘bully’ Scooter Braun – who is the manager of Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and many more – acquired the label she was previously at – Big Machine Records.

His company Ithaca Holdings LLC bought Big Machine Label Group for a reported $300 million.

The deal included the master recordings of all six of her albums – all of her previous music and her legacy.

On her Tumblr post, Taylor slammed Scooter as well as Big Machine Label Group CEO Scott Borchetta and revealed she was not offered the opportunity to buy her own masters and that the former bullied her for years.
