After Denzel Washington Rejection, Vin Diesel Teaming Up With Jackie Chan for Fast and Furious 11? Diesel Said: “I’m lucky to call him a brother”
Starring an ensemble cast alongside Vin Diesel, Fast and Furious has now become one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood. Starting with the 2001 movie, it has ten films under its title, with an 11th installment under development. With every new movie, the franchise has also brought in introduced new faces over the past two decades.

While not all of their plans turned out to be successful, it still features some of the prominent names from the industry. And seems like with the upcoming movies under Fast and Furious, the lead star and the producer of the franchise might bring in the international action star Jackie Chan.
Vin Diesel’s Heartfelt Tribute to Jackie Chan
Starting his career as a child actor, Jackie Chan has devoted almost his entire life to the world of entertainment. And with a career spanning decades, he has motivated many to follow their dreams. The Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel is also one of those who took a huge inspiration from the martial artist.

While presenting him the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for his worldwide contribution to entertainment, Diesel took the opportunity to pay tribute to Chan. He shared how the two enjoyed a movie night before the award ceremony, watching Guys and Dolls. The actor further praised him for making it big in Hollywood despite his initial failures.
“His significance is one of great importance. He does something to the world. He somehow adds his multi-cultural component to his movies and to his message.”

Talking about his bond and friendship with the Rush Hour star, Diesel said, “I’m lucky to call him a brother. I’m lucky that he wants to watch guys and dolls with me.” He further stated that he also considered himself lucky to have a role model such as Jackie Chan, who inspired him to approach the action genre.
Is Jackie Chan Joining Vin Diesel in The Fast Saga?
The Fast and Furious film series features some of the biggest action stars of the time, from Vin Diesel to Dwayne Johnson. However, fans have been rooting for their favorite actors to join the franchise in the future, and one of the names also includes Jackie Chan.
The Fast and Furious cast
Following the events of Fast and Furious 6, fans started demanding to introduce the Police Story star into the franchise as Han’s vengeful father. Following his resurrection in the 2021 movie F9, fans once again started demanding the same, suggesting the makers stated that it was his father (Jackie Chan) who saved him in Tokyo.
While that seems unlikely to happen, Diesel stated something while honoring the 69-year-old actor, that suggests he could bring in Chan in the future installments of the franchise. The actor said, “We were watching Guys and Dolls. And Jackie said I should play Sky Masterson and he should play Nathan Detroit.”
Sung Kang as Han
Guys and Dolls stars Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra as two gamblers Sky Masterson and Nathan Detroit, respectively. Although he did not say anything directly, there is a possibility that the Riddick star bring in his friend and idol as an acquaintance of Dominic Toretto in the next installment of the franchise.
