“Bro’s only coming back cuz Black Adam flopped”: Dwayne Johnson Trolled for Humiliating ‘Fast X’ Return Despite Public Feud With Vin Diesel
Action star Dwayne Johnson
Previously, his public feud with Vin Diesel and The Fast and the Furious franchise has also been well-documented. With the latest news that Johnson will make a comeback in the upcoming film Fast X, fans are now questioning the star’s double standards while also bringing up possibilities of any ulterior motives that he may harbor.
Dwayne Johnson Trolled For Appearing in Fast X
In an exclusive revelation from The Wrap, actor Dwayne Johnson will be reprising his role as Hobbs in the latest installment of The Fast and the Furious which is due to release on the 19th of May. The actor will reportedly be making an appearance in the post-credits sequence of Fast X. This announcement came as a big surprise, especially since Johnson had vehemently expressed his opinion that he will not be part of the franchise anymore. Netizens took to social media to brutally troll the actor for his alleged double standards.

Despite receiving backlash for his decision to be part of Fast X, Johnson’s presence may also serve to boost the popularity of the film by recreating his character’s rivalry with Vin Diesel on-screen.
A Look Back At Dwayne Johnson’s Rift With Vin Diesel
The 5th installment of the Fast and the Furious was bigger and better in more ways than one. While it already had its talisman Vin Diesel, his rival in the film was the equally charismatic wrestling star, Dwayne Johnson. Seeing The Rock and Diesel facing off against each other was a delectable proposition. Unfortunately, the two stars also let their egos clash, apart from their fists and fell out over alleged creative differences in 2016.
Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel will share screen space in Fast X
Diesel, in an attempt to bury the hatchet years later, handed an olive branch to Johnson stating that Fast X will not be complete without the presence of Hobbs, which was the character that the Black Adam actor played. Johnson though remained steadfast in his decision to not be part of the franchise and stated this in no uncertain terms,
“I told [Diesel] directly that I would not be returning to the franchise. I was firm yet cordial with my words and said that I would always be supportive of the cast and always root for the franchise to be successful, but that there was no chance I would return”
Considering the finality of the above comment from Johnson, the latest surprising announcement of his return as Hobbs in Fast X has got tongues wagging about the reasons behind his change of heart. It now remains to be seen if the Jumanji 2 actor has actually accepted the truce that Diesel offered to him.
