Dwayne Johnson is Afraid to Start Another Fight With Vin Diesel, Refuses to Address Calling the Fast and Furious Star a “Candy As*”
Family, not friends. Every Fast and Furious fan knows how Dominic Toretto aka Vin Diesel never forgets to reiterate that he has got a family and not just friends. However, is this sentiment the same off-camera? Seems not. Especially after rumors about his beef with co-star Dwayne Johnson.

And owing to this conjectured bitterness between the two, the Rock was recently asked about Diesel’s behavior on the set. Moreover, the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’s host brought up an infamous 2016 social media post by Johnson. However, side-stepping the question, the Rock refused to talk about Diesel.
What was the 2016 post that Andy Cohen brought up?
It’s no surprise that many celebrities make comments about their co-stars publically. However, back in 2016, Dwayne Johnson shared an Instagram post where he criticized the work ethics of one of his co-stars. Although the post is now deleted, the questions surrounding it continue to follow Johnson.
The post read,
“My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s*** to do anything about it anyway. Candy a****.”
Furthermore, explaining how his co-star’s actions affected him, he added,
P”When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.”
How did Dwayne Johnson avoid another Vin Diesel question?
During his appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Johnson was asked if in 2016 he allegedly called out Vin Diesel a ‘candy a**’ for his unprofessionalism. Furthermore, citing that Johnson did not film any scene with Diesel in The Fate of the Furious, he asked the Rock what was the most unprofessional behavior he witnessed from Diesel on set.

However, ‘pleading the fifth’ on questions about Diesel, Dwayne Johnson successfully avoided stirring up any more controversies surrounding their alleged feud. Prior to this, Johnson confessed in one of his interviews with Rolling Stone that he had a discussion with Diesel including an ‘important face-to-face’ one. He said,
“And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.”
Well, it’s clear that Johnson successfully avoided controversy in his recent appearance on the Andy Cohen show. However, was this because Johnson and Diesel have worked things out or because the Rock is afraid of starting another fight with Diesel?
