Leonardo DiCaprio won millions of hearts with his role as Jack Dawson in Titanic, and one of them also includes Emma Stone. During her appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, the actress opened up about her love and admiration for DiCaprio. She said,

“He was the love of my life. I had a picture of him in my bedroom that was signed, that I had gotten for my birthday when I was like 12 years old.”
The actress also recalled an endearing moment involving her longtime crush that happened at the 2017 Academy Awards when DiCaprio presented her with the Oscar for Best Actress. Stone won the Oscar for her 2016 romantic musical La La Land, in which she starred alongside Ryan Gosling.

“And I was walking to Leo, and I was like, this is officially the most surreal moment of my life,” she shared. While the win was undoubtedly a remarkable achievement, the Poor Things actress shared that receiving the award from someone she has always admired made it even more exciting.

As she opened up about her love for the Titanic star, Emma Stone shared that she had watched the 1997 movie “seven and a half times in theaters.” While receiving the Oscar from him was a “surreal” moment for her, the actress also believes that Leonardo DiCaprio might find her a bit weird.

“I could not believe it. I think he probably thinks I’m like a little weird,” she said, explaining that she gets so nervous every time they meet. The Zombieland star further said, “Whenever I see him, I’m kind of like, ‘Hey, how’s it going?’” However, despite the awkwardness at the moment, the Oscar winner said that getting her first Oscar from DiCaprio was the “craziest experience” for her, as she gushed about one of her favorite actors.
