The actor is well-known for his performance as Aquaman in the DC universe, so watching the actor take up a different role was a treat for the fans. During his latest interview with ScreenRant, actor Jason Momoa talked about his character, Dante Reyes, and what inspired his wardrobe. He said,
“I really weigh heavily on wardrobe and props. It’s my lack of acting skills where I really need their help. I really built a lot of this wardrobe with obviously a costume designer, but just had a lot of ideas, what I wanted.” He added, “I really was inspired by pastel colors. I wanted something that was warm and inviting and then when you got close to him, you were just like, ‘That’s the devil and the devil tricked me.’ So that was kind of the whole idea.”
The actor always gives his best to get into the character. When Momoa was shooting for Slumberland (2022), he completely adopted the wardrobe of his character, Flip.
The actor talked about Dante Reyes’ Lavender car

In the movie, the viewers got to see Dante Reyes’ iconic Lavender-colored 1966 Chevrolet Impala. As per sources, they matched the color of the car to the color of the actor’s nail paint. Momoa talked about the car in the interview,
“They weren’t that keen on letting me have a lavender car. I think Neil was like, ‘No, we’re not doing lavender.’ I’m like, ‘Dude, we need to do it. I want it lavender.’ And they budged. The whole thing behind lavender is that my mother absolutely despises that color and I adore that color.”
The actor basically went with the color to annoy his mother. He explained that making her cringe gives him a lot of joy.

“Well, obviously the next one’s going to even, even bigger and better, so thanks for watching. I’m excited to see it with my friends and family, so I haven’t got to see it yet. This will be a very exciting day.”
In the movie, Dominic Toretto once again returns to protect his family from Dante Reyes, son of Hernan Reyes from Fast Five, who seeks revenge. The movie was released in the theatres in the United States on 19th May 2023.
