The controversial YouTube star didn’t hold back while reviewing Hailey Bieber’s Rhode skincare line on TikTok last month, calling the packaging “so boring” and saying the model “literally looks like she wants to die” in the brand’s promotional images.
“In this house we’re on Team Selena and we’re team not bullying anyone,” Star added at the time, before promptly tossing the entire package — which included Rhode’s glazing fluid, barrier cream and lip treatments — in the trash without even opening the products.
And on Wednesday, the influencer alleged on the “Chicks In the Office” podcast that “Bieber or someone on her team” flagged the video and had it temporary removed; it’s since been restored.

He dubbed Bieber’s brand “Rhode Pest Control” and, when the show’s hosts asked him to rate the line, declared it a four out of 10.
Star then shared a glowing review of Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty, giving the products an 8.5 out of 10.
In a multi-part TikTok series last month, he expounded on his love for Gomez’s line, praising products including her Soft Pinch Liquid Blush ($23) and new Tinted Lip Oil ($20).

Gomez and Bieber’s feud has been well documented, with the two stars most recently becoming embroiled in a eyebrow controversy involving Kylie Jenner.
Last month, both Bieber and Gomez asked fans to stop bullying each other on social media.
Star is no stranger to online beef himself, having been criticized in the past for his insensitive product releases and feud with James Charles and Tati Westbrook, among other things.
He was also accused of sexual assault, physical violence and bribery in an explosive 2020 Insider article; Star denied the allegations.
