Justin Bieber celebrates his 30th birthday next year and is seemingly happily married to US model Haley Bieber.
But if you cast your mind back to when the ‘Baby’ singer burst onto the scene, he was just a child living his musical dream.
While Bieber was hugely successful in his younger years, there were many interviews that the singer did that were, let’s just to say, questionable.
Over the years, many have questioned those who have interviewed Bieber or even appeared on TV with the singer.
One particular TikTok online shows a series of clips of people interacting with the singer and him reacting uncomfortably, with people watching the video saying they found the way people behaved around him ‘disturbing’.
In the first clip in the compilation, an 18-year-old Bieber is held around the neck and kissed by Jenny McCarthy, with the singer breaking free and saying ‘wow, I feel violated right now’.
McCarthy later said she ‘did grab his butt’ and jokingly described the moment as ‘cougar rape’, saying she ‘couldn’t help it, he was just so delicious’.

Now, people have praised Bieber’s response to a ‘condescending’ interviewer in recently resurfaced footage online.
A 2009 interview when Bieber was just 15 years old shows that he really was an expert at throwing shade even at that young age as he defended his fame to W5 documentary host Sandie Rinaldo.
The clip was recently reposted to Reddit, which was filmed as part of the Leave It to Bieber documentary that originally aired on Canada’s CTV some 14 years ago.
In the clip, Rinaldo suggested that Bieber’s rise to fame was because of good marketing and YouTube hype.
But Bieber politely pushed back at the host, telling her his career took off ‘organically’ because of his talent.
Bieber went on to say that him coming from Stratford ‘gave others hope’ as ‘nothing really comes from there’.
Rinaldo fired back by naming CTV news anchor Lloyd Robertson as another Stratford success story.
Smiling Bieber had the perfect comeback: “There hasn’t been somebody to come out and be known worldwide. Do you agree on that point?” the singer said.

“Do you think Lloyd Robertson is known in a little town in Germany?” Bieber added.
“Probably not … So you’re saying you’ve got international appeal. That’s the point you’re making?” the presenter replied.
“Yes ma’am,” the ‘Love Yourself’ singer concluded.
On Reddit, people have been full of praise for the way Bieber handled the interview.
“He handled like a pro,” one person penned.
A second added: “Like a pro. This kid is going somewhere… you can almost tell.”
While a third remarked: “W for the Bieber.”
