“I don’t know anything about that stuff,” Scott Eastwood said of the reported feud between his costars

Any supposed bad blood between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vin Diesel on the set of Fast 8 was news to their costar Scott Eastwood.

While there have been reports of a feud between The Rock and Diesel, Eastwood, 30, said he never noticed any tension between the two actors.

“I had a great time working on the film,” Eastwood told Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t know anything about that stuff.”

In fact, Eastwood said the entire cast acted professionally on set of the latest installment to the franchise, adding that even when the cameras stopped rolling, everyone would continue to hang out together.

“We had barbecues like every day on set. Tyrese would put on barbecues for everybody,” he recalled. “We’d go run out and shoot a scene and come back and listen to music and eat grilled chicken.”

Last month, Johnson posted a lengthy rant in which he publicly called out “some” of his male costars for being “chicken s—-” and “candy a—-.” A source later told PEOPLE that tension had been building for months on the set between Johnson and Diesel.

A ninth and 10th installment in the Fast & Furious franchise are being planned.
