Snoop Dogg turns Mississippi car into bright orange ‘flying wheel’
Renowned hip hop artist Snoop Dogg is a passionate car enthusiast with an impressive collection. Among his various vehicles, a vintage 1970 Buick Skylark from Gulfport caught his attention. With roots in Mississippi, Snoop’s interest led him to Lee Adams at Spokes-N-Vogues near Huntsville, Alabama.
Snoop Dogg’s love for cars, as he often says, “If the ride is more fly, then you must buy,” prompted him to connect with Adams to create a unique automobile. After a year and four months of work, the classic Buick underwent a remarkable transformation, including a customized chrome wrap and mechanical improvements.
Snoop Dogg proudly introduced his newly customized car in a video, showcasing its vibrant orange color and sleek design. Lee Adams and his team, along with Blair Barnes, contributed their expertise to this extraordinary project. Despite the challenges of working with chrome material, the wrap added a distinctive touch to the car’s appearance.
This project wasn’t just about creating a stunning vehicle; it also held sentimental value, connecting Snoop Dogg to his Mississippi heritage. The success of this endeavor has sparked interest from other artists, with Mississippi’s Big K.R.I.T. also planning to have his vehicle customized by Adams and his skilled team.
