The glitz and glamor inside Sean Diddy’s Toluca Lake apartment in Los Angeles will make you swoon.
Sean “Diddy” Combs has sold the San Fernando Valley mansion that belonged to his late ex-girlfriend and mother of four of his children, Kim Porter, in a discreet transaction. The Toluca Lake property, purchased by Diddy in 2009 for $5.3 million but never personally occupied, was transferred earlier this year.
The new owner of the traditional-style estate is Charles D. King, the founder and CEO of Macro, who transitioned from being a talent agent at WME to a producer. King, along with his wife Stacey, acquired the property on the East Coast for $6.5 million, below the initial listing price of $7 million. Charles D. King has made history in Hollywood as part of the first all-black producing team for the Oscar-nominated film “Judas and the Black Messiah.”
The residence is nestled on a prestigious street behind walls and gates, where many notable figures reside. Among the neighbors are Sia, Viola Davis, Steve Carell, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jennifer Morrison from “Once Upon a Time,” Nats Getty (an oil heir), and his transgender YouTuber wife, Gigi Gorgeous. Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song, who recently bought Kiefer Sutherland’s Toluca Lake home, are also in close proximity.
Built in 2006, the wood-clad house boasts six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, spanning nearly 10,000 square feet across two levels. Upon entering the front, one encounters a double-height entry foyer adorned with a marble floor in a checkerboard pattern and a curved staircase topped with a crystal chandelier. The main level features a spacious living room with a fireplace, an elegant kitchen with a central island and high-end appliances, as well as a screening room.
The upper level houses the master retreat, complete with a fireplace, private balcony, and a spa-inspired bathroom featuring a soaking tub. Outside, the meticulously landscaped grounds showcase mature sycamore trees, a large pool and spa with a Baja deck, a shaded terrace perfect for al fresco dining and entertaining, and a sports court. The property also offers ample parking space with a spacious driveway and a three-car garage.
Apart from the recently sold property, Diddy owns a $39 million mansion in Holmby Hills and a two-house compound on Miami’s prestigious Star Island. As for the Kings, they sold their previous Studio City residence for $3.3 million in 2020.
