Dwayne Johnson remains people’s favorite but he has had his bit of rivalry with individuals from WWE and the Hollywood industry. Some took jibes at the wrestler-turned-actor probably because of his success and bullheaded attitude. Others have retaliated against the Black Adam star for his insensitive comments.

Vin Diesel and The Rock’s rivalry is well known by the folks however his list of conflicts does not end there. Johnson has several people who have called him out or insulted him indirectly, some turned into fans and friends; the rest remain bitter.

John Cena and Johnson’s rivalry was started by Cena who called out the actor on National TV, he said that The Rock is a hypocrite who used wrestling to become a Hollywood celebrity. Cena’s frustration with people leaving the WWE industry took a jibe at the Fast and Furious star.

“Then explain to me why he [The Rock] can’t come back for an anniversary show, why he can’t make an appearance at WrestleMania. Simply put, it’s because he wants to be an actor, and there’s nothing wrong with that.”

“He’s a very good actor, he’s very successful, he’s done very well for himself, and associating with sports entertainment doesn’t do much for his acting career, so I get why he doesn’t come back. Just, don’t f*** me around and tell me that you love [wrestling] when you’re just doing it to do something else.”

The wrestler was ardent and bold in the remarks he made, these were completely unscripted and Cena was asked to step down. The wrestler continued to harbor hate for Johnson until he joined the Hollywood industry. A decade later, Cena was asked to comment on his hypocritical actions, the actor humbly accepted his mistakes and told Sports Illustrated that,

“I love the WWE. For me to not be able to see Dwayne’s vision on what he wanted to do personally, and how his success could affect a growing global brand, that was just ignorant on my part.”

Later, the two reunited and worked through their differences. Cena and Johnson are best friends now. They have even collaborated on WWE projects and a few Hollywood projects which made huge profits.

Vin Diesel is well known for Fast and Furious films and for giving voice to the most adorable Marvel hero, the Groot. While shooting Fast and Furious, Diesel and Johnson had some friction that spilled on social media. It made the conflict public, this time Johnson took the baton and called out Diesel for being unprofessional and a candya*s. He wrote,
“My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em.

My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling—you’re right.”

Vin Diesel took the matter a little more lightly and offered an olive branch to Johnson on various platforms. He also claimed that Johnson and Diesel were always a family, and they will continue to be so no matter what. Diesel appreciated Johnson on Instagram in 2019 and congratulated him on his wedding which could be reflective of their repaired relationship.
