Why Travis Kelce skipped the first night of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Argentina
Taylor Swift kicked off the first night of her Eras Tour in Argentina — with Travis Kelce nowhere in sight.
Her NFL star beau missed the Thursday night concert in Buenos Aires to attend a gala for his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes’ 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.
In a clip shared on the foundation’s Instagram Story, Kelce can be seen standing up and clapping after being congratulated for becoming the all-time leading receiver in Chiefs history.
He was dressed smartly in dark blue slacks and a long-sleeved white button-down.
The tight end, 34, was seated next to his pal Mahomes, 28, who was later honored with the Founder’s Award from the Black College Football Hall of Fame for his continued support of historically black colleges.

While Kelce wasn’t able to support his Grammy-winning girlfriend as she returned to her record-breaking Eras Tour in front of 80,000 fans, a source confirmed to Page Six that he plans on flying out to see her perform at either her Friday or Saturday show.

The Kansas City Chiefs have a bye this week, meaning they have no game scheduled this weekend.
However, our source told us the two-time Super Bowl champ is expected to fly back in time for practice on Monday as he prepares to face his brother, Jason Kelce, and the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 20.
Travis hinted at his upcoming travel plans on Wednesday’s episode of his and Jason’s “New Heights” podcast.

The hunky football player and “Cruel Summer” songstress, 33, confirmed romance rumors in September when the latter showed up for the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.

They were seen holding hands for the first time in mid-October as they enjoyed a dinner date at New York City’s Nobu sushi restaurant.
Days later, a source close to Swift’s bestie Blake Lively told the Daily Mail that she was already “falling in love” with Travis.
“Taylor is blown away right now and her family is all about Travis,” the insider claimed.

“She is trying to keep it together, but is obviously falling in love with him and he feels the same way.”
The source added, “He actually courted her and she feels like she is the luckiest gal in the world right now.”
Although fans are hoping Swift and Travis are each other’s “End Game,” one person important in the singer’s life is hesitant about the romance.
The couple reportedly has support from both of their families.GC Images
“Selena [Gomez] thinks Taylor going to games and galavanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her,” an insider told Page Six exclusively.
“Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena.”
For now, though, the couple’s respective families are seemingly on board with the relationship.
