American superstar Katy Perry comes to the ECHO arena tonight, as part of her Prismatic world tour.

And, as the California Gurl told the ECHO last month, she is looking forward to bringing her spectacular stage show to a Liverpool audience.

Speaking to Jade Wright, Katy said: “This tour is another big challenge for me. I always like to continually challenge myself and raise my goal mark up.

“I’m very excited to be kicking off in the UK because the audience there, the fans, their energy is wild and that is what I want for the first shows. I want that wild energy.

“Basically this tour is just on another level, it’s different from the last tour but just as colourful and the stage is so advanced, and incredible, somewhat futuristic and a little bit more modern than the last tour. It’s just so fun.

There’s a lot of comedy in the show, all these little bits of humour.”
