The 38-year-old singer put on a glamorous display in a metallic purple pantsuit featuring form-fitting, high-waisted trousers and a cropped bandeau top as she posed behind-the-scenes of American Idol.

The Teenage Dream hitmaker her raven black tresses in a half-up, half-down hairstyle with voluminous waves framing her face.

The television personality — who recently revealed she has been sober for five weeks — also shared a snap of herself applying lip gloss ahead of the taping.

Tonight #idol kicks off Hollywood Week! Which means it’s time for all the twists, turns, [and] tears,’ she wrote in her caption to her 195 million followers. ‘GET READY!’

The pop star rocked a chrome lavender and pale pink eyeshadow look to match the rest of her bright and bold look.

One snap showed Perry holding onto a rhinestone-encrusted Hello Kitty mirror as she applied pink lip gloss.

At the same time, a hairstylist, out of view from the camera, was giving her money pieces a touch up.

For jewelry, she sported a pair of classic, stud earrings and various glistening, diamond necklaces.

In one photo, she posed with peace signs and her heel kicked up as she stood on the side of the stage.

Another image showed the mother-of-one — who shares daughter Daisy, two, with her husband, Orlando Bloom, 46 — holding onto the curtain ropes behind the set.

The SoCal native joined the American Idol family as a judge for the 16th season reboot in 2018.

Previously, she was also a guest judge for a brief period during season 9 in 2010.
