She only landed in Paris yesterday, but Katy Perry has already managed flash the majority of her flesh to the people of France in this nice array of revealing outfits.

The singer is in the capital for Paris Fashion Week and wasted no time in hitting the Balenciaga show –  leaving the Hyatt Hotel in a mint outfit that was entirely see through around the bottom area.

Fortunately, Katy opted to wear a massive pants under the sheer midi, which helped her to avoid getting a fairly embarrassing wedgie in front of the fashion crowd. The more we stare at the outfit, the more we like it – Katy is rocking the sort of colour scheme we’d paint our spare room in… if we had more than one room in our flat.

She later returned to her posh hotel to change before dinner, emerging with even more skin on show in a long sleeved tribal print mini dress.

Teaming the striking look with as pair of Louboutins, Katy struck a sexy pose for the cameras before heading off to La Maison du Caviar, which sounds proper classy because it’s got the word caviar in it.

This week, she did a bit of talking about why she’s released Teenage Dreams: Complete Confection – an updated version of her previous album.

She told MTV: “It feels like the record that never ends! Obviously I’m going to close this chapter soon. I am ready to make a new record and maybe try another approach artistically, and I will close the book on Teenage Dream soon, but Complete Confection just felt really organic. I’m doing it mostly for the hard core fans, because they always love all the extras. And also, I couldn’t put more than 12 songs on the original Teenage Dream, and I had written more songs and I finally wanted to incorporate them.”

OK, we believe you. And Katy added that she’d like her next album to be a little bit darker… we wonder why.

She said: “It’s a very therapeutic thing for me, songwriting. I’m kind of one of those people who is a bit emotion-less on the outside, especially in public, but what I do is I store it, and I file it, so when I need to write I can just push that button.”

That’ll explain the manic smiling in public then – we thought it was a bit odd.
