But on this night the Fireworks hitmaker went nearly unrecognized as she casually walked along the bustling streets of New York by herself to the Gershwin Theatre for a performance of Wicked on Broadway.
And it wasn’t for a lack of trying.
Always looking to impress with a daring style, the 34-year old star wore a purple-patterned ensemble that came complete with baggy pants, a matching duster jacket and a tight-fitting white shirt.
The outfit was hard to miss with its reptilian scale pattern and color, and the jacket draping just a couple of inches from the ground.
Keeping with her most recent style trend, the American Idol judge had her platinum-dyed hair cut short with a part to the left.
Perry’s famous fiance, Orlando Bloom, was nowhere to be found during her walk and later when she arrived outside the theatre.
The hot and heavy couple were last spotted out in public together riding a motorcycle to a romantic dinner date at Craig’s, in West Hollywood on Monday.
They are reportedly keeping thing at a slow pace when it comes to planning their wedding.
The I Kissed A Girl singer is set to headline the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on April 27 and has no further concerts listed on her website.
She most recently closed out the three-day music festival Capital One JamFest at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Sunday night.
There’s also word she discussing the idea of setting up a residency in Las Vegas with Caesars Entertainment.
