Perry gave a glimpse into her enduring relationship with Bloom in an Instagram post Saturday. The “Never Really Over” singer shared a trio of photos of the stylish couple dressed to the nines. Perry wore a sleeveless, black-and-white dress, while Bloom donned a navy blue tuxedo.

“Orlando and I’s initials are O.K. We continuously put in the work to make sure they aren’t K.O.,” Perry wrote. “Find yourself a partner that will go down to the mat with you and get back up every time. I love you my fighter @orlandobloom.”

Bloom echoed his longtime girlfriend’s sentiment in the comments section. “I love you and our love bombs,” he wrote. “Wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Bloom, who began dating Perry in 2016, opened up about the dynamic of his relationship with the pop star in a February interview with Flaunt magazine. The “Carnival Row” actor said he and Perry, whom he referred to as his “baby mama and life partner,” have differing approaches to life because of their contrasting backgrounds as artists.

“We’re in two very different pools,” Bloom said of their relationship. “Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands. Sometimes things are really, really, really, challenging. I won’t lie.”

He added: “We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity, (but) I think we’re both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did, and there’s definitely never a dull moment.”

Katy Perry, left, gave a glimpse into her enduring relationship with Orlando Bloom in an Instagram post Saturday. "We continuously put in the work," Perry wrote.
The couple’s differences nearly derailed their romance at one point, with Bloom and Perry separating in 2017. In a 2020 interview with CBC, Perry got candid about her mental state after the two split, which coincided with the release of her 2017 album “Witness.”

“I had broken up with my boyfriend, who is now my baby-daddy-to-be, and then I was excited about flying high off the next record and the record didn’t get me high anymore,” Perry said. “The validation didn’t get me high, and so I just crashed.”

Perry and Bloom went on to reconcile, and the couple became engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019. They later welcomed a child, a daughter named Daisy Dove, in 2020.
