Katy Perry took to social media on Sunday to encourage her followers to watch the latest episode of American Idol on ABC.

The 38-year-old pop superstar,  who was recently accused of ‘bullying’ a very nervous contestant, wore a funky camouflage bustier and matching khaki trousers in a trio of pictures she posted on Instagram.

The Firework singer had her black hair parted down the middle and straight down and also accessorized with rose-colored Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, necklace and bracelets.

She pointed at the camera in one of the snaps and also gave a photo credit to her makeup artist Michael Anthony for the pictures.

‘I want YOU to watch #AmericanIdol tonight cause it’s the last day of auditions omg ahhh,’ Katy wrote as a caption for her roughly 194 million followers.

Katy has been a judge on American Idol along with Lionel Richie, 73, and Luke Bryan, 46, since the singing competition show was revived in 2018 on ABC.

Season 21 of American Idol premiered on February 19 and the final auditions aired on Sunday as the judges selected the final singers for Hollywood Week.

Katy, Lionel and Luke were all moved by singer Cam Amen, 27, who grew up in foster care in Anderson, Indiana, and auditioned to Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.

Cam received a standing ovation from the judges and a hug from Lionel after his performance and Luke revealed that he was getting a Platinum Ticket that allows him to sit out the first round of Hollywood Week.

Katy has an ongoing concert residency at Resorts World Las Vegas that started on December 29, 2021, and is scheduled to end on August 12.

She remarked on the latest episode of American Idol that she had performed the night before the final auditions.

Katy has been in a relationship with actor Orlando Bloom, 46, since 2016 and they got engaged on February 14, 2019.

The couple have two-year-old daughter Daisy together.
