Katy Perry sent pulses racing with her glamorous latest Instagram offering.

The singer took to social media to show off her sensational look as she swapped pyjamas for a stunning dress.

Katy – who recently welcomed her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom – proved that newfound motherhood has not taken a toll on her, as she continues to shine despite being up at ungodly hours.

Wearing a strapless shiny gold dress, Katy looked incredible as she posed up a storm for a series of snaps.

The Roar singer oozed class in the snaps, which saw her opt for a wavy long blonde hairdo and a full face of makeup.

“MOTHER,” Katy wrote,

Naturally, the stunning snaps saw fans flock to the comments section to compliment the new mum on her glowing appearance.

“Looking like an actual goddess,” wrote one fan, while another penned: “Daisy’s mother looking gorgeous.”

A third fan added: “Such a stunner. Looking amazing!”

Katy and Orlando welcomed their first child together back in August.

Their baby girl Daisy Bloom’s birth was announced on Instagram, as the new parents posted an adorable snap of her little hand.

Orlando is already a proud dad to son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

It comes as Katy recently opened up about returning to work while also juggling new mum duties.

In a series of tweets, the Smile songstress spoke of her experience of motherhood and how it was nothing short of a “full time job”.

“Popular misconception: being a mom isn’t a full-time job,” Katy penned.

“Part 2: when a mom finally goes back to work (whatever profession they do) it’s not like they been coming from months of ‘time off …’ she’s coming from a full time job … of being a mom, lol.”

She then added: “Part 3: call your mom and tell her you love and appreciate her and advocate for paid family leave!”

In a final tweet she added that she “loved her job” as a mum.
