Katy Perry has been happy to showcase the variety of her wardrobe with a number of interesting looks while at Coachella Music and Arts Festival over the weekend.

The singer made sure she stood out from the crowd on each day of the first weekend of the star-studded event with a voluminous silk gown backstage at The Empire Polo Club.

Showing off her shoulders in the strapless dress, the 30-year-old hide her figure in the two-tier peach dress.

Styling up the look with a large multi-patterned choker, she accessorised with dangling earrings and tortoise shell print sunglasses.

Her dark locks were slicked back into a tight bun while she completed her look with dark red lipstick.

Taking to Twitter, she told fans: ‘Wearin silk to see @Drake’.

Katy is currently on break from her Prismatic World Tour but has been indulging in her wacky sense of style as she sported a quilted gold bra and patchwork denim dungarees at the Moschino party on Saturday night.

The Birthday hitmaker cosied up to her good friend, Moschino designer Jeremy Scott, amid the crowd of guests, which included Robert Pattinson and his girlfriend FKA twigs.

They held each other close at one point during the raucous soiree.

Katy was outfitted in Jeremy’s designs, with gold patches on her dungarees matching the gold of her bra.

She also sported a gold and orange jacket, though left her shoulders and upper arms bare.

Katy rocked giant gold hoop earrings and strode along in orange platform sandals, with her raven hair styled in a long braid.

The Teenage Dream hitmaker hung out with a male friend, whose arm she clung to throughout the night.

She also rubbed elbows with the likes of Fergie, Robert Pattinson and his girlfriend FKA twigs, Jena Malone, Alexa Chung, Skrillex, Haim, and Daft Punk.

Though not pictured, Diplo, whom Katy was rumoured to be dating and is said to have broken up with, was also present, according to Style.com.

The party was complete with Moschino pool toys, giant cans of Moschino beer, and giant teddy bears.

Jeremy discussed his motivation for throwing a Coachella party.

‘I love Coachella, so I thought I’d celebrate my friends and the musicians I love,’ he told Style.com.

‘The thing about musicians I’ve always admired is that they have such great style, and I feel like it resonates with me personally and also with my work.’

Jeremy also delved into why his work is adored by stars in the entertainment industry.

‘Part of a musician’s job is to turn up the volume on their own personality, and that’s why we love them,’ he said.

‘I amplify that a little bit more for them, and I think that’s why it’s such a good relationship.’

Meanwhile, Katy is currently on break from her Prismatic World Tour, in support of her fourth studio album, Prism.

The raven-haired beauty wrapped up her European leg in Stockholm, Sweden on March 22 and is headed off to tour Asia with a show in Guangzhou, China on April 18.
