The 18-year-old high school student from Kahuku, Hawaii then performed Don’t Let Go by Spawnbreezie while his family waved their hands in the air from the audience.

The crowd cheered for him as confetti fell from the ceiling and the other top 12 contestants ran to the stage to hug him and join him in song.
