The couple has postponed their wedding plans twice, while Orlando’s ex has been remarried since 2017.

Miranda Kerr’s family is about to get a little bigger, while Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom remain uncertain about the future of theirs. The 40-year-old model-turned-businesswoman delightedly announced her fourth pregnancy on Snapchat this Friday. In a tranquil garden setting, she shared a glimpse of her baby bump while donning a stylish cropped tank and jeans.

“So excited to announce baby no. 4,” she wrote over the first photo, while she announced the baby’s gender in another. “And it’s a boy.”

Miranda’s decision to announce her pregnancy via Snapchat was fitting, given that she’s married to the social media platform’s CEO, Evan Spiegel. The pair have been wed since 2017 and already share two children together, sons Myles, 4, and Hart, 5.

Miranda also has an older son, Flynn, 12, whom she shares with her ex-husband Orlando Bloom. They were married from 2010 to 2013.

Orlando has also moved on since their marriage. He’s been engaged to singer Katy Perry since 2019 and the pair share a 3-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. However, now that it’s been four years since the pair got engaged, and there have been various reports of wedding plans, fans wonder if and when the two plan to marry.

Katy And Orlando Originally Cancelled Their Wedding After Location Issues

After getting engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019, the pair had apparently been in the midst of planning a destination wedding for the subsequent year. However, a December 2019 report indicated that they were encountering difficulties in finding the perfect venue for their marriage ceremony.

“They changed the timing due to the location they want,” a source told Us Weekly. “They’re beyond in love.”

Nevertheless, the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic once more disrupted their arrangements. Katy and Orlando were reportedly planning a destination wedding in Japan in 2020, only for lockdown to derail it.

“It was all set for Japan with 150 guests. Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant,” a source told PEOPLE in March 2020.

“They were both so elated that all the wedding details were finally coming together, but they are hitting pause because of coronavirus,” they added. Katy also revealed her pregnancy in 2020, and it seems that prioritizing a wedding became less significant for the couple after the arrival of their first child, leading to a lack of concrete plans.

Katy Admitted She’s Having Trouble Agreeing With Orlando On Wedding Plans

Another potential factor contributing to Orlando and Katy’s delay in officially getting married might be their inability to reach a consensus on wedding particulars. In an interview with Stellar Magazine, Katy referred to herself as a “bridechilla” rather than a “bridezilla,” suggesting that her easygoing approach can sometimes pose challenges when it comes to nailing down the wedding arrangements.

“Orlando and I are united with our approach,” the singer said. “It’s not about the party. It’s about the coming together of people who will hold us accountable when things get really hard. Those are just the facts when you’re with someone who challenges you to be your best self.”

Orlando and Katy still seemed committed to getting hitched, but for now, it doesn’t seem like the long-time couple’s first priority.
