The set drew dozens of FCC complaints as well as getting backlash from an anti-porn group for ‘glamorizing’ sex work.

The anti-porn group said the performance ‘could have been cut from a hardcore pornography film,’ adding that it glamorized ‘stripping and prostitution.’

Cardi and Megan also got embroiled in a Twitter spat with conservative commentator Candace Owens.

Cardi defended the song in multiple interviews and on social media, telling Australia’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show: ‘The people that the song bothers are usually conservatives or really religious people.’
