A young woman, Mrs Esther Ereniyi has cried out to Nigerians for help as her daughter, little Favour Ereniyi battles for survival having been born with a hole in the heart.

Distressed Esther said they had spent all their fortunes trying to save the child.

She disclosed that the nine-month-old Favour needs the sum of N7 million to undergo a corrective surgery and have a chance of living a normal life.

Baby Favour, according to her, was diagnosed with the heart condition about three months after her birth on 6th August, 2022.

The mother, a seamstress, lamented, “We discovered that her breathing was fast. We took her to the General Hospital Isolo where she was treated for a month before we were referred to Massey Street children’s Hospital in Victoria Island, at Paediatric Cardiology unit, 2 months ago.

“We have also visited Babcock University Teaching Hospital for heart surgery.

“Result shows she has a hole in her heart. The doctors told us only heart surgery will erase the defects.”

While disclosing that both her and the husband have run out of cash, she stated that the surgery is expected to take place at Babcock University Teaching Hospital or at Tristate Health Care System, Lekki Lagos.

“I’m appealing to everyone to help us. We don’t want to lose our daughter.

“Our plea is to good spirited Nigerians to assist us and save the life of our daughter.

“The baby finds it hard to breathe, and is always in pain due. She is in discomfort,” she lamented.

She said assistance could be rendered to them through their account details: Bank: FCMB; Account Name: Ereniyi Favor, Account No: 1002276881.
