Harry Hill and Cardi B are not two names we ever thought we’d write in the same sentence.

But, the TV Burp star surprised everyone when he made an onstage appearance with rock band Black Midi, during which he performed a verse by the US rapper, 30.

Before you get ahead of yourselves, no, it wasn’t WAP.

The comedian – real name Matthew Keith Hall – took to the stage at the east London venue and showed off some comical dance moves, before launching into Cardi’s hit tune I Like It.

Footage shared online showed Harry, 58, dressed in his famous black suit and large-lapelled shirt, jumping around the stage to cheers and shouts of surprise from unexpecting fans.

It’s safe to say Harry was absolutely loving it, as he boogied around and seemed unable to wipe the smile from his face.

The funny man’s surprise appearance with the British rock band on Wednesday night lasted less than 30 seconds, but oh the joy this has brought us will last a lifetime.

Black Midi band member Cameron Picton later wrote on Twitter that ‘nothing will ever top’ the star’s cameo in their show.

He wrote: ‘We’ve done loads of crazy prestigious stuff we’re proud of.

‘We could perform at the Grammys and even win one, or travel back in time and play live aid or some shit but nothing- NOTHING will ever top HARRY HILL coming on stage and doing a Cardi B verse with us tonight.’

The musician also shared a polaroid picture of the band smiling alongside the much-loved star.

Naturally, the internet was equally as stunned by the whole thing.

‘I know I’m dreaming right now bc Harry Hill doing a Cardi B verse with Black Midi is something that I’d dream,’ one Twitter user wrote.

‘Harry Hill singing Cardi B at a black midi gig was not the crossover I realised I so desperately needed,’ another wrote.

Another joked: ‘You could’ve asked me to list 1,000 things I never thought I’d see in my life and Harry Hill doing a Cardi B song would never have made that list.’
