Nicki Minaj just came back swinging after Cardi B attacked her with a shoe during an event at New York Fashion Week over the weekend.
Taking to her weekly Beats 1 Queen Radio show, Minaj unloaded on the other rapper, calling Cardi’s actions at the Harper’s Bazaar party “humiliating” and her statement afterward a “bunch of lies.”
“The other night I was the part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through in front of upper echelon people who are, you know, people who have their lives together,” Minaj said during the show.
“I was mortified,” she said of the “disgusting commotion” at the event. “I could not believe how humiliated it all felt, how we made ourselves look.”
After the event, Cardi defended her actions by saying Minaj mentioned her daughter, Kulture, and made “comments about me as a mother.” Nicki denied every doing that.
“I would never discuss anyone’s child and it’s so sad for someone to pin that one me because I’m the bad guy and they know people would believe them,” Minaj continued. “Let me go on the record and say I would never talk about anyone’s child or parenting. It’s so crazy to me that people always need to make Onika the bad guy. If you’re right in whatever you’re doing, you don’t never have to make someone the bad guy.”
“I am not a clown. That’s clown shit,” she continued. “You knew that when that footage came out, you was about to look f–king dumb … they hurried up and put out a statement. I’m such an ill ass bitch, I didn’t even feel the need to defend myself that night.”
Calling Cardi’s comments “a bunch of lies,” Minaj said the other rapper has “built her career off of sympathy and payola.”
“I saw someone write a lot of lies about me and I never normally defend myself, but I can’t do that anymore,” she went on. “These lies are ridiculous and if I were to tell you the real things about some of these people, you would be on the f–king floor.”
“The lord gave you a blessing of a beautiful bundle of joy and the only thing on your mind once you gave birth was to attack people and stop their bags?” Nicki went on. “Get this woman some f–king help. This woman is at the best stage of her career, and she’s out here throwing bottles and throwing shoes? Get this woman an intervention!”
She told everyone to stop laughing at the story, because it’s “not f–king funny.”
“You put your hands on certain people, you’re gonna die, period,” she continued. “You’re sitting here making this shit a joke.”
